Samantha is a girl growing up in 1904. She lived in the turn of the century when new inventions, like the
automobile and electric lights started changing the way most Americans lived.
Samantha was my first American Girl doll. I received Samantha for Christmas when I was
twelve and Nellie the Christmas after that. I have Samantha's bed, her table and chair set and her lemonade set. I
also have some of her outfits. She and Nellie are now discontinued as well as their entire collection.
Samantha is the doll with brown hair and Nellie is the blond.
This is a picture of my Samantha collection. I have Samantha's bridesmaid dress,
her cranberry Christmas dress, her wicker table and chairs, her lemonade set, her bed and her dog, Jip.
